The annual festival at the Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple will be held from April 2 to 11, said the Executive Officer. The temple will open for the annual festival at 5.30pm on April 1. The rituals will begin with the 'Ganapathihomam' the next day morning. The kodiyettu ceremony to mark the beginning of the ten-day festival will be held between 7.54 am to 8.38am on April 2, 2006. Tantri Kantaru Mohanaru will hoist the ceremonial flag. The utsavabali ritual will be held at 12 noon from April 3 - 10, 2006.
