Ashada sudda Ekadasi is otherwise called as Sayana Ekadasi, Harisayana Ekadasi and Toli Ekadasi. From this day on wards, Lord Sri Vishnu will go into sleep for four months and will woke up again on Karita sudda Ekadasi. This day, being the first one with Ekadasi both are coincided, this day is called Toli Ekadasi. From this day onwards, Lord Vishnu will come from Heaven to the earth and perform the duty of Dusta Sikshana and give proper way to the devotees. Devotees will perform puja with white sandal and recite Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam to seek His blessings. It is advisable to recite the sloka regularly to please Lord Vishnu. ' Twaya supte Jagannadha jagatusptam bhavedam, vibudewtatwa budwe tatstarwam sacharacharm'.
From this day on words, natives offer prayers to Goddess Lakshmi for one month. Daily offer prayers to Goddess with red flowers, roses, red sandal powder etc., To derive more financial benefits and to ward of the negative effects, natives perform this vratam. During this period donate green vegetables. It is believed that Goddess Lakshmi showers wealth to the natives who perform this vratam commencing in Ashadamasam.
On this day for pleasing the Lord Sri Suryanarayana Swamy, the natives have to undertake fasting. You should not eat alcohol and meat. Sleep on the floor and pray the God with red flowers. It is better to recite Surya Kavacham on this day. Due to this problems regarding eye and heart will not haunt you. During the period of Greeshmarutuvu, out of all Saptamis, this Saptami is considered is the best one for deriving benefits.

Sukra Moudyami begins from May 10, 2008 to July 8, 2008 and again March 23, 2009 to April 1, 2009. Moodhami means dark. Ravi if having aspects with other planets, Graha war starts. As we are aware that Guru and Sukra are subha grahas. If these two planets moves close to Sun, this period is called Moudyami. During the period Moodhami, Guru and Sukra looses their strength.
