Mars is coming close to earth on August 27, 2009. The red planet, Mars will be visible as big as the Moon on the day and even portrays the enlarged picture of a Mars to match the Full Moon can be seen by naked eyes. The hoax claims that on that day Mars will look as large as the Full Moon, a sight that no one alive today will ever able to see it again. If Mars comes to so close enough to our Earth to rival the Moon in sight, as the hoax claims, its gravity would alter the orbit of the Earth That can create and raise terrible tides on the Seas. Those who want a global tsunami to occur can wish that way. However, none will alive on the earth to see such a catastrophe. If at all it happens, millenniums hence, the life of the Earth have ceased to exist much before that event.
At a distance of 69 million km, Mars can shine bright, in the night sky. The closest encounter between Mars and Earth in recorded history occurred about six years ago ie., on August 27, 2003 when Mars approached to a point closest to the Earth at 34.6 million miles and that was its closest encounter with the Earth, ever known in recorded history of over 5000 years. According to astronomical computations, it was the closest approach in the last 73,000 years for which, of course, we do not have any recorded history. A still closer approach of 34,580,000 miles is expected in the year 2729 AD., when none of the present generation will alive to see the event. To the unaided eye, Mars will look like a bright red star and certainly not as wide as Full Moon as the hoax claims. Millions watched Mars, when the distance between Mars and Earth shrunk to 56 million km in 2003. This ensuring encounter at 69 million km, will be similar. To any casual observer, Mars will be spectacular to look at this year also, as bright and beautiful as it was in 2005 or 2003. Earth is racing towards Mars at a speed of 23,500mph, that means that the red planet is getting bigger and brighter by the minute. In October, when two planets are closet together, Mars will outshine everything in the night sky except Venus and the Moon.
The orbit of Mars at 1 year 320 days orbit of the Earth. Therefore, their opposition points will always be changing. The next opposition will be on January 29, 2010. These oppositions occur approximately every two years. During the oppositions that occur when Mars is at its perihelion, the planet will be nearer to the Earth than at any other time. A favorable opposition takes place every 15 to 17 years. During that time, Mars can appear to be about thrice bright as star Sirius. Only 43 million miles will separate us from Mars, in the ensuing event, as compared to an average distance about 140 million miles.
According to astrological implications of this close approach of Mars is pegged on only to its aspect or debilitated Jupiter in Capricorn and succeeded by its mutual aspect with Saturn consequent upon its Virgo on September 9 this year. As such, the celestial shows have started the ignition of ruinous terror strikes there are likely to get into a culmination between September 9 and October 5, 2009.
