In the natal chart of a native, if Chandra positioned in a Rasi is called as Janma Rasi. From Janma Rasi to Gocharam, Sani enters into dwadasa bhava, Sade Sani begins. This is the first phase. During Gochara time, Sani impact on Janma Rasi is second phase and Sani enters into Janma Rasi, it is called as third phase. In fact, the total duration of Sade Sani is seven and half years.
