Vaastu Shastra is the art, craft and scientific branch of astrology that deals with placement of various objects inside out home so they will help us become much better. Vaastu Shastra presents a number of tips and techniques that not only helps us build a beautiful home but one that makes us really comfortable and peaceful. The home is undoubtedly the best place, rather the most secure place, any one can stay at.
Vaastu plays an important and vital role for a happy and cordial atmosphere and it will also help the native to grow further. Here, we give some information regarding changes carefully in the house that will help the native to have a better progress. Defective Vaastu houses causes the native more troubles. If the dasa period of the natives is adverse, the situation will be more grave.
Generally, rectangular house plots are tend to be good for construction of a house according to Vaastu Sastra. However, changes in the shape of the plot should be made cautiously as some extensions and changes are favourable and some are depending on which part of the plot of land is extended or cut. If the northeast corner of the land is cut off, it will affect the family growth and ancestry inauspiciously. This is because cutting off the northeast prevents positive energy from flowing into the property. If the area is extended, it is very favourable as it allows more positive energy to flow into the plot. In Vaastu, the northeast is given more importance as the cosmic rays hit the earth at this angle. Each plot of land is viewed as a miniature earth, so the northeast sector acts as antenna in receiving energy waves. To allow more positive energy to flow into a property, the owner should open, extend and depress the northeast. To store the energy, one should close and elevate the southwest and ensure it is not cut off. If a piece of land is not square or rectangular, one has to abandon some small area to see that the plot is rectangular or square. The small pieces so left over should be blocked off.
Vaastu Sastra recommends that the ideal house should have some space between it and its neighbors so there is a smooth flow of cosmic energy, ventilation and light. In modern housing estates where rows of terrace houses are built because of space constraints. However, Vaastu principles can still be applied successfully in a terraced house.
Choose the best: Before purchasing properties, you should avoid units that face T-junction as this is inauspicious and can bring financial and health problems. There seems to be a lack of understanding about the practice of Vaastu Sastra among people because many want fast solutions without observing Vaastu totally.
Even though there are some products in Vaastu like the conch shell, Vaastu wood and the Swastik symbol, they will not work effectively if the building do not conform to Vaastu rules. For example, the Southwest is meant for the breadwinner of the house and the kitchen must be placed in the Southeast or northwest sectors of the house. If such things are not done, using the products cannot completely cure a resident's problems.
