The first Solar eclipse of the new year 2010 happens on January 15, 2010 with a maximum central duration of 11 minutes 8 seconds will be visible across Central Africa, the Indian Ocean, India, Sri Lanka and South East Asia.
It is observed that it as a partial one in some countries of Africa, Asia and Indonesia and the eclipse originates at IST 10.44 in Makara Rasi with luminaries not crossing even the one degree distance in the sign indicating that the eclipse will take place in a controlling zone of Saturn, in a sign owned by Saturn. This means that Saturn's domination would be very evident on the Annular Solar eclipse. The lunar shadow, obstructing the Sun's visibility and commencing its journey at IST 10.44 hrs on the Chad soil in the eastern Africa with a width of more than 300 km and traversing through the Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Kenya, and Southern Somalia in the African continent will touch the Indian Ocean at IST 12.36.33. This would be the greatest eclipse also. During the course on the Indian Ocean, the eclipse will reach its peak with its magnitude reaching a record level 0.9190 and its annularity lasting for 11 minutes 8 seconds. At IST 12.56 hrs, the lunar shadow will reach Male, the capital city of Maldives where the annularity lasts for 10 minutes 40 seconds. Exactly 25 minutes later, as the lunar shadow continues its journey into the Asian belt, the eclipse path transits into the southern tip of India. Touching the areas of Tamil Nadu and areas of Northern Sri Lanka during which the annularity lasts for 10 minutes 15 seconds. The duration of eclipse annularity continues to go down gradually as the lunar shadow passes through the areas of Bangladesh, Mayanmar, China and other countries. In India, one can pleasingly watch the ecplise from Nagercoil, Tuticorn, Palayankottai and Trichendur in the state of Tamil Nadu and from Surat, Ahmedabad and Kutch in Gujarat. In its four hour journey, the obstructing shadow of the Moon will travel around the earth covering 0.87% of its surface along an eclipse path of 13,000 km.
Sri Virodhinama Samvastaram Pushya Amavasya, Uttarashada nakshtra in Makara Rasi, Rahugrasta Solar eclipse falls on January 15, 2010. The eclipse begins at 11.32am to afternoon 3.12pm. Natives with the stars of Krutika, Uttara, Uttarashada and natives running Ravi Maha dasa have to take remedial measures. The implications due the ecplise will have its effect on factors guided by planet Saturn that stands for democracies, elections, mass and long distance travel and transportation means and systems. A culmination of these astrological factors indicate some sudden rebellion of sorts in military or police wings of governments of countries. Falling along the path of the ecplise shadow such as Chad, Somalia, Congo, Kenya, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Mayanmar, Mass and election related violence on a massive scale in any of these countries before a period of two months and twenty days from the date of this ecplise ie., on or before April 5, 2010. Rebellious and terrorist attacks on means of mass transportation, resulting heavy loss of lives and property are also indicated of these countries in the above mentioned period.
